Red Hot Woman of the Year! -

Have you ever read the magazine Red? Red Magazine is full of fashion, health and beauty advice, inspirational entertaining and ideas, plus intelligent writing on issues that affect us all today.

Well this year, Red is running ‘Hot women awards 2010’ for the most impressive working women. A little birdie has just told me that Vashti (Founder of Deki) has been nominated in the community/charity category.

This is very much an honourable nomination as it recognises Vashti’s hard work, determination and commitment to Deki and trying to create a self-sufficient world for all.

Vashti has been shortlisted to the final stage of the awards and will appear in front of some high profile judges including the editor in chief of Red magazine, Sarah Brown, charity campaigner and wife of Gordon Brown, the deputy editor of the Guardian. Their combined expertise will determine the winner of the charity/community category.

I can hear a drum roll coming... 7th September 2010 is judging day. So let’s all keep our fingers
crossed!
